2. Our Services and Platform
2.1 Service Description
SkyBook operates as a travel technology platform that enables you to search for, compare, and book flights from various airlines. We act as an intermediary connecting you with airlines and facilitate the booking process on your behalf.
2.2 Platform Availability
We strive to maintain continuous platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons. We are not liable for any losses resulting from platform unavailability.
2.3 Search Results and Pricing Display
Flight options displayed on our Platform are based on real-time data from airlines and global distribution systems. We organize search results to show relevant options, which you can sort and filter according to your preferences. Prices shown are indicative and subject to availability at the time of booking.
3. Account Registration and Use
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features and manage bookings, you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Security
You agree to:
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Not share your account with others
- Provide truthful and current information
3.3 Acceptable Use
You agree to use our Platform only for legitimate personal travel purposes. You must not:
- Use automated systems or bots to access our Platform
- Attempt to circumvent our systems or security measures
- Make fraudulent bookings or provide false information
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our Platform
- Resell or commercially exploit our services without authorization
4. Booking Process and Confirmation
4.1 Making a Booking
When you make a booking through SkyBook, you authorize us to arrange flight reservations with airlines on your behalf. A booking is complete when you receive a confirmation email containing your itinerary details and booking reference.
4.2 Booking on Behalf of Others
If you make bookings for other passengers, you confirm that you have their authorization to do so and that they agree to the applicable airline terms. You are responsible for ensuring all passenger information is accurate and complete.
4.3 Confirmation and Travel Documents
Upon successful booking, we will send confirmation details to your registered email address. This typically includes your booking reference, e-tickets, and itinerary information. You should review these documents immediately and contact us if there are any discrepancies. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please contact our support team.
4.4 Booking Errors
If we discover an error in your booking (such as incorrect passenger name or travel dates), we will contact you as soon as possible. Depending on the airline's policies, correction may be possible, subject to fees. Some errors may require cancellation and rebooking.
5. Pricing and Payment Terms
5.1 Fare Components
The total fare you pay consists of:
- Base Fare: The airline's ticket price
- Taxes and Fees: Government-imposed taxes, airport fees, and security charges
- Service Fee: SkyBook's fee for facilitating your booking
- Optional Services: Baggage, seat selection, or other add-ons you choose
5.2 Price Accuracy
We make every effort to display accurate pricing. However, airfares are highly dynamic and can change rapidly. The final price is confirmed only after your payment is processed and booking is confirmed. In rare cases of obvious pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and offer you the opportunity to rebook at the correct price or receive a full refund.
5.3 Payment Processing
Payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is processed securely through certified payment processors. We do not store complete card details on our servers.
5.4 Currency and Exchange Rates
Prices may be displayed in various currencies for your convenience. If you pay in a currency different from the airline's billing currency, conversion rates applied by your card issuer may result in slight variations. We are not responsible for currency conversion charges imposed by your bank or card issuer.
5.5 Service Fees
Our service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. These fees compensate us for the technology, customer support, and services we provide to facilitate your booking.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
6.1 Changes Initiated by You
If you wish to modify or cancel your booking, please contact our customer support as soon as possible. All changes and cancellations are subject to the airline's fare rules and may incur fees. Some fares are non-refundable and non-changeable. We will inform you of applicable charges before processing any changes.
6.2 Changes by Airlines
Airlines may change flight schedules, routes, or cancel flights. When we are notified of such changes, we will inform you promptly and assist you with available options, which may include rebooking on alternative flights or obtaining a refund according to airline policies.
6.3 Refund Processing
If you are eligible for a refund, we will process it according to the payment method used for booking. Refunds typically take 7-14 business days to appear on your statement, though this may vary by payment provider. Refund amounts depend on the airline's fare rules and may be less than the amount paid if cancellation fees apply.
6.4 No-Show Policy
If you fail to check in or board your flight without prior cancellation, airlines typically consider this a no-show and no refund will be available. For return or onward flights, airlines may cancel the remaining segments if you miss the first flight.
7. Airline Terms and Passenger Rights
7.1 Conditions of Carriage
Each airline has its own terms and conditions (Conditions of Carriage) that govern your flight. By booking through SkyBook, you agree to comply with these airline-specific terms. These conditions cover matters such as baggage allowances, check-in requirements, conduct on board, and liability limitations.
7.2 Baggage Policies
Baggage allowances vary by airline, route, and fare class. We display available baggage information during booking, but you should verify details with the airline. Additional baggage fees may apply. Airlines are responsible for handling, loss, or damage to your baggage according to their policies and applicable regulations.
7.3 Special Assistance and Dietary Requirements
If you require special assistance, medical equipment, or have dietary requirements, please inform us during booking. We will communicate your needs to the airline, but the airline is responsible for accommodating such requests subject to their capabilities and policies.
7.4 Flight Delays and Cancellations
In the event of significant delays or cancellations, you may have rights under applicable regulations (such as EU Regulation 261/2004 or US DOT regulations). These rights include compensation, assistance, and rebooking options. Such rights are against the airline, not SkyBook. We can provide guidance on claiming compensation, but the airline is responsible for fulfilling these obligations.
8. International Travel Requirements
8.1 Passports and Visas
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and all necessary travel documents for your entire journey, including transit countries. Requirements vary by destination and nationality. We recommend consulting relevant embassies or consulates well in advance of travel.
8.2 Health Requirements
You must comply with all health-related travel requirements, including vaccinations, health certificates, and testing requirements. Check with health authorities and your destination's requirements before travel. We are not responsible if you are denied boarding or entry due to lack of required health documentation.
8.3 Customs and Immigration
You must comply with all customs and immigration regulations. Airlines and authorities may deny you boarding or entry if you do not meet requirements. This could result in additional costs for which we are not liable.
9. Our Role and Responsibilities
9.1 Agency Relationship
SkyBook acts as an agent in arranging travel services on your behalf. The actual contract for air transportation is between you and the airline. We facilitate the booking process but are not the carrier.
9.2 Information Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our Platform is accurate and current. However, we rely on data from airlines and third-party providers. We cannot guarantee absolute accuracy of all information, including schedules, fares, and availability.
9.3 Customer Support
We provide customer support to assist with bookings, answer questions, and help resolve issues. Our support team operates through various channels including email, chat, and phone. Response times may vary based on inquiry volume.
10. Your Responsibilities
10.1 Accurate Information
You must provide complete and accurate information when making bookings. This includes passenger names (exactly as shown on travel documents), contact details, and any special requirements. Errors in passenger names may result in denied boarding and significant correction fees or the need to purchase new tickets.
10.2 Check-in and Boarding
You are responsible for checking in for your flights, whether online or at the airport, within the time frames specified by the airline. You must arrive at the airport with sufficient time for check-in, security, and boarding procedures. We recommend arriving at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights.
10.3 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential trip cancellations, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events. SkyBook does not provide travel insurance unless explicitly offered during the booking process.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
11.1 No Warranty - Service Provided "As Is"
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our Platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that our Platform or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of our Platform in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.
11.2 Third-Party Travel Services
SkyBook owns and operates the Platform, but the airlines and other travel service providers are solely responsible for the travel services they provide. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for:
- The acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any airline or travel service provider
- Any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting from airline operations
- Flight delays, cancellations, schedule changes, overbooking, or missed connections
- Lost, delayed, or damaged baggage
- Denied boarding or refusal of entry into any country
- Strikes, mechanical problems, weather conditions, or other force majeure events
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided by airlines
- Changes to flight schedules, routes, or aircraft types
- Quality of in-flight services, meals, entertainment, or seating
- Immigration or customs issues at any destination
11.3 Information Accuracy
Airlines and other service providers supply us with information about their services, including descriptions, photos, pricing, schedules, and policies. These providers are responsible for ensuring such information is accurate and current. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy or completeness of such information and disclaim all liability for any inaccuracies, unless we directly caused such inaccuracies through our own actions.
Flight times, aircraft types, and other travel details are indicative only and subject to change. The display of travel services on our Platform does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by SkyBook. We cannot guarantee that prices displayed on our Platform at any given time are the actual prices that will be charged at the time of booking completion.
11.4 No Liability for Indirect or Consequential Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to the limitations in these Terms, SkyBook and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use our Platform or services
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content
- Personal injury, property damage, or any other harm resulting from your access to or use of our Platform
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Platform
- Any bugs, viruses, or similar elements transmitted to or through our Platform by any third party
- Any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, use, or goodwill
- Travel services provided by airlines or other service providers
- Any delays or inability to use our Platform or related services
- Your use of links from our Platform to third-party sites
- Any changes, modifications, or discontinuation of any part of our Platform
- Failed transactions, payment processing errors, or declined payments
- Missed travel connections, hotels, tours, or other arrangements
This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, consumer protection statutes, or any other basis, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11.5 Maximum Liability Cap
If SkyBook is found liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with these Terms, then, subject to the exceptions and limitations in these Terms and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall be limited to the greater of: (a) the service fees you paid to SkyBook for the specific booking in question, or (b) one hundred dollars (US$100.00) or the equivalent in local currency.
This limitation of liability reflects the allocation of risk between you and us. The limitations specified in these Terms will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these Terms is found to have failed its essential purpose.
11.6 Force Majeure
Neither you nor we shall be liable for any failure to fulfill obligations under these Terms where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, wars, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government actions or restrictions, power failures, internet outages, or failures of third-party service providers. In such cases, the affected party's obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.
11.7 Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by SkyBook. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your use of any such third-party content, goods, or services.
11.8 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the limitations above may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
11.9 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SkyBook and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to our Platform and services
- Your violation of any term of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
- Any claim that your use of our Platform caused damage to a third party
- Your bookings or use of travel services
- Any inaccurate or fraudulent information you provided
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of our Platform. You agree to cooperate fully in our defense of any claim. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.
11.10 Release of Claims
If you have a dispute with one or more airlines, travel service providers, or any third party whose services are accessed through our Platform, you release SkyBook and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any and all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
You expressly waive any rights you may have under any statute or common law principle that would otherwise limit the coverage of this release to include only those claims which you may know or suspect to exist in your favor at the time of agreeing to this release.
11.11 Booking Information and Errors
You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information you provide when making a booking, including passenger names, dates, contact information, and special requirements. We are not liable for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from errors in the information you provide. Name corrections or changes may not be possible or may incur significant fees from airlines.
11.12 Travel Advisory and Risk Assumption
We do not represent or warrant that travel to any destination is advisable, safe, or without risk. You are responsible for researching travel advisories, health risks, safety concerns, and entry requirements for your destinations. By booking travel through our Platform, you acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and you assume all such risks voluntarily. We strongly recommend consulting official government travel advisories and obtaining appropriate travel insurance.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
12.1 Platform Content
All content on our Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and functionality, is the property of SkyBook or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
12.2 Limited License

14.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you may be entitled to additional protections that cannot be limited by these Terms.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through our Platform or via email. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The version in effect at the time of booking governs that specific booking.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that closely reflects the intended purpose.
15.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Statement and any specific terms presented during booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and SkyBook regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements.
15.4 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.
15.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any affiliate or successor entity.
15.6 Force Majeure
